Drawing inspiration from film music, orchestral writing, and artists such as Snarky Puppy and Petros Klampanis, the album features seven original compositions that move fluidly between classical music and jazz, with a strong sense of storytelling running throughout.\n\n\n\nEach piece unfolds like a conversation — between the immediacy of jazz and the refinement of classical music, between harmonic richness and melodic clarity. Together, the musicians create a distinctive sound that adds a fresh voice to the contemporary European jazz scene.\nVeda is joined by Laurent Peckels on bass, Julien Cuvelier on saxophone, and Maxime Magotteaux on drums.\nThe project was developed during a creative residency at Opderschmelz in Dudelange, Luxembourg, where the album was also recorded.
