DESCRIPTION:Etching Workshops with Michelle Hothum\nApril 13th / 14th, 2024\nApril 16th / 17th, 2024\nApril 20th / 21th, 2024\nThe workshop is intended for beginners.\nThe participants are first introduced to the etching technique and its vast possibilities.\nNext, each participant can create his / her own plate – from the initial sketch to the engraving of the depiction on a plastic etching plate, using different instruments.\nThen the depiction will be printed on special paper, using a printing press. The participants will also learn the process of printing with multiple colors.\nTwo day workshop,\n10.00 – 12.30 and 14.00 – 17.00\nPrice: 190 Euro\nMax. 6 participants\nMaterials and engraving tools will be provided. All the needed materials such as plates, paper and printing inks are included in the price.\nMichelle Hothum\nhas been working as a freelance artist since 1998.\nHer main field of activity is etchings, miniature paintings and illustrations.
