Etching Workshops with Michelle Hothum<\/h2>\n

The workshop is intended for beginners.<\/p>\n

The participants are first introduced to the etching technique and its vast possibilities.<\/p>\n

Next, each participant can create his \/ her own plate – from the initial sketch to the engraving of the depiction on a plastic etching plate, using different instruments.<\/p>\n

Then the depiction will be printed on special paper, using a printing press. The participants will also learn the process of printing with multiple colors.<\/p>\n

Two day workshop,<\/p>\n

10.00 – 12.30 and 14.00 – 17.00<\/p>\n

Price: 190 Euro<\/p>\n

Max. 6 participants<\/p>\n

Materials and engraving tools will be provided. All the needed materials such as plates, paper and printing inks are included in the price.<\/p>\n

Michelle Hothum<\/strong><\/p>\n

has been working as a freelance artist since 1998.
\nHer main field of activity is etchings, miniature paintings and illustrations. In recent years, many of her works have been published in several book projects.
\nMichelle’s favorite themes are fairytale creatures, angels and charming natural scenes.<\/p>\n
