SUMMARY:accio piano trio
DESCRIPTION:Concert, Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 4:00 PM, in the festivity hall Vic. Abens\nThe Accio Piano Trio was founded in 2013 by Clemens Böck, Anne Sophie Keckeis, and Christina Scheicher at the Mozarteum University Salzburg. Since then, numerous concert tours have taken them across Austria and Germany, as well as to France, Italy, England, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Turkey, Malta, China, and Senegal. From 2020, they furthered their studies in piano trio chamber music at the HMDK Stuttgart under Martin Funda and Florian Wiek, completing their Master’s degree with distinction in 2023. In 2021, the ensemble made its debut at the Stiftung Mozarteum Salzburg; during the 2024/25 season, they were honored to appear multiple times as Featured Artists, from family concerts at the Mozart Week to a successful season concert in April in the “Klassik pur” series.\nOther projects this year included performances within the Mozart-Gesellschaft Stuttgart, their first U.S. tour with concerts in Washington D.C. and New York (May/June), as well as further guest performances in Ljubljana, Paris, and London. With Jeunesse Österreich, the trio also collaborated for the second time this season, presenting both a children’s program and classical chamber music concerts. Additionally, the Accio Piano Trio was selected for 2025/26 as one of five candidates in the classical category of the support program The New Austrian Sound of Music (NASOM) by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BMEIA), and looks forward to numerous international projects as cultural ambassadors of Austria.\nThe trio has won several national and international awards, including twice at Musica Juventutis (Vienna), the 9th International Johannes Brahms Chamber Music Competition in Gdánsk, Poland (2nd prize), the Brahms Competition in Pörtschach (3rd prize), and the Carl-Wendling Chamber Music Competition in Stuttgart (1st prize).\nThe trio’s repertoire focuses—besides masterpieces of the Viennese Classical period—on rarely performed piano trios by composers such as Frank Martin, Lili Boulanger, Bohuslav Martinů, Cécile Chaminade, and Dora Pejačević.\nwww.acciopianotrio.com\nReservations: (+352) 83 41 08-1 / caisse@castle-vianden.lu ( mailto:caisse@castle-vianden.lu )\n \nEntrance prices:\nMembers of the Friends of Vianden Castle: free of charge\nNon-membres:\nAdults: 21 EUR\nStudents: 11 EUR\nChildren (6-12 years): 11 EUR\n
