Music Days Vianden Kammerata 7. Edition
The new season of MusicDays Vianden promises to be both varied and captivating. It will open at the Castle with a fantastical evening themed around Halloween and the spellbinding Count Dracula (costumes encouraged).
The festivities continue at the Trinitarian Church with a Baroque concert devoted to the funeral music of the 16th and 17th centuries, performed by the Ensemble Vocal du Luxembourg under the direction of Matthias Rajczik, with Maurice Clement at the organ.
A Fado concert at the Ancient Cinema will offer a warm and intimate atmosphere, while a children’s performance created by Catherine Kontz will bring to life the story of Kunigunde, daughter of Sigefried, Count of Luxembourg.
Finally, two concerts by the chamber ensemble Kammerata Luxembourg will highlight the exceptional setting of the Vic Abens Hall at the heart of the Castle and lead audiences on a musical journey through classical elegance, romantic intensity and contemporary creation, featuring works by Beethoven, Schubert, Reuter, Mozart and Schoenberg.
