Finding Beauty in Simplicity
Beatrix Kovács is an independent artist, online content creator, and educator based in Budapest, Hungary. She has been playing classical guitar for twenty years and has performed in competitions and concerts across Europe.
In 2016, Beatrix was admitted to the Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts at the University of Szeged. Since graduating, she has made a name for herself as a respected content creator in her field, publishing high-quality music videos and educational content on YouTube, Twitch, and Instagram.
Her mission is to shine a light on lesser-known compositions, nurture a sense of community between artist and audience, and bridge the gap between classical artistry and listeners without formal musical training. She values simplicity and genuine connection in art, music, and life. Her goal is to present a new face of the classical guitar and show that the instrument has far more depth and variety than it is often given credit for, through both rediscovered works and her own original compositions.
Her debut album, Journey, features pieces by various composers that reflect on nature in different ways. The title not only evokes the diverse landscapes explored throughout the album but also represents Beatrix’s personal journey of discovering her calling and growing into a performing musician.
