The Ettelbrücker Männerchor LYRA was founded in 1911 and has made a good name for itself in the social and cultural life of our country through its singing.Like every association, the Ettelbrücker LYRA has experienced ups and downs and has developed over the years into a recognised men’s choir through friendship and collegiality, through the commitment and idealism of each individual member. These qualities and values are still held in high esteem today and make up a large part of LYRA’s strength. 113 years on, the Ettelbrück male choir has lost none of its appeal and with a dynamic committee, a committed conductor and motivated singers, the “Grande Dame” LYRA will continue to prove itself with many concerts on the cultural stage.
